The office work environment is not for everyone as there are people who work efficiently on their own and are very shy in dealing with others outside family and friends.
Fortunately, remote jobs are now available for introverts to consider as an alternative to office environments. If you are considering taking a remote position for the first time or moving away from the office setup, here are 10 of the best remote jobs you can check out:

As a data scientist, you will be spending time checking spreadsheets and creating reports listing your analysis of the data provided. You will need to be proficient with math, statistics and economics to be successful in this field.
3. Social Media Manager
Being a social media manager can be fun for introverts because, in this job, you will be working with a variety of social media strategies and help your clients get successful social media posts that will generate sales or impressions. Salary for social media managers varies depending on your expertise in social media and what responsibilities will be given to you.
4. Film/video Editor
Introverts who have great film and video editing skills will succeed as remote film or video directors. In this job, you will be given the raw material from your clients and the instructions you need to remember as you edit the film for their use.

Since introverts have excellent attention to detail, you can also work as a proofreader. In proofreading, you will check various written materials for grammar errors and do accuracy checks. You will also be asked to provide feedback to improve the document you are reviewing.

8. Transcriber
Are you a great listener and able to type out what you hear perfectly? If that is a yes, being a transcriber may be your calling. As a transcriber, you will need to have great listening skills, fast typing skills and excellent mastery of English.

Aha! Something that fits my personality. I think what’s also important for people to realise is that they have to accept who they are. Don’t be like me and try to fit in an extrovert’s world just because that’s what society tells you to (I was a hairdresser, for Christ’s sake).
Loved this Kally. Thanks for sharing!

A lot of these do sound pretty interesting! Translator was one of my early career dreams, but since I don’t know a lot of languages, I had to set that aside.
