For some of us, working in an office cubicle all day is not an option. It can be very stuffy in these walls and if you love the great outdoors, it can drive you insane if you stay indoors all the time. However, it is not easy to find a job that caters to nature lovers.
But, don’t give up just yet because down below are some of the best jobs for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts:

Tree planter
With trees now decreasing at a rapid rate, tree planters are now growing in number. Tree planters are the ones who go to areas that need new trees and plant them.
The job can be hard work, especially if the location is in the middle of nowhere. However, it is rewarding because you know these trees will help the environment recover even for just a bit.

In this job, you will make sure that all the recyclables reach the center and get them recycled. It is also up to you to schedule collections, manage workers, and see the center is in ready to receive collection.

Limnologist
Although this one may not be familiar to many of you, a limnologist allows you to study freshwater ecosystems and its denizens.

Geologist
If you want to learn more about volcanoes, the ocean floor and the Earth’s surface in general, being a geologist may interest you.
In this job, you will get to study various materials from the earth and try to work out how they develop. Some geologists are even sent overseas to study newly discovered mineral deposits.

They also examine ancient sites used thousands of years ago and figure out what they were used for. This job also involves a lot of travelling, which is perfect if you want to travel for work as well.
Organic Farmer
Something down to earth? Check out the job of organic farmer.
While some may say farming is old school work, it is actually becoming popular nowadays.
Organic farming, in particular, helps people grow healthy fruits and vegetables without using chemicals. It also helps bring nature to otherwise populated areas filled with buildings.

Photographer
Finally, nothing says nature and the great outdoors than being a photographer. As a travel photographer, you can explore the outdoors and take breathtaking shots. You can also document areas where people do not usually visit.
More importantly, photographers often work alone especially if your subjects are plants, waterfall and mountains.
