My dear loyal reader, Shiva Malekopmath has nominated me for the Blogger Appreciation Award. Thank you very much, Shiva!! It’s my honor to accept this award!

Since I have not done this award and it has been a long time since I have participated in an award blog post. I thought this Monday to let my hair down a little and have some fun with this award as well as to nominate some of the readers who have been following me!

  1. Thank the person who nominated you and post a link back to their Blog.
  2. Use the “Blogger Appreciation Award” image.
  3. Write a positive paragraph about yourself.
  4. Nominate other bloggers whom you appreciate.

Something Positive…
The last updated post about MiddleMe and myself, I have mentioned that I have set up my LinkedIn account. To my surprise and delight, many of my ex-colleagues whom I have lost touched after I relocated to Shanghai, reached out to me. They didn’t just add me in their connection or view my profile, in fact, there are many who left messages to ask how I am doing.

Before MiddleMe, I do not have any social media accounts and even after I set up Facebook and Twitter for MiddleMe, I have never blast invitation to anyone personal because the purposes of social media are to spread the love of MiddleMe and not to update about my personal life. Hence, with my LinkedIn account, words have spread like little wildfire that I am ‘online’ and up until this moment, I have at least one connection added everyday.

It always feels great to matter to someone enough to have them care to want to remain in connection with me even though it has been more than 3 years being away from Singapore.

Talking about connection. The connection I have made with MiddleMe readers here are fantastic, many of whom I have already see them as friends in my heart. You don’t need to physically meet someone in order to have a strong connection with them. Below are some of the connections I have made…

My nominations are…

Untraveled Routes

Teagan Geneviene

Oscar Dandelion

Jerry Mabbott

Eva Xanthopoulos

There are really too many connections I have made throughout the 9 months journey with you folks that I truly treasure.

A Big Positive Hug on a Monday! Now go back to work! Haha!

  1. Thank you for nominating me! And I surely agree, you don’t need to meet a person physically to feel a strong connection 😉
Have a beautiful week dear Kally. Kind regards, P.
