Hmm, have to disagree here. “Being true” to oneself smacks of “your truth, my truth” as though there are differences of “truth.” And there are MANY obligations we acquire as we learn and grow. I know Bach’s philosophy from “Jonathan Livingston Seagull” (a really beautiful movie with amazing soundtrack by Neil Diamond). Basically, he is a very selfish man who believes you should do whatever makes you happy, without regard for others (including his three wives). Very sad.
“Truth does not become more true by virtue of the fact that the entire world agrees with it, nor less so even if the whole world disagrees with it.” (Maimonides)

Thank you for sharing!!.. “It is not easy to find happiness within ourselves, and it is not possible to find it elsewhere.” (Agnes Repplier )… 🙂

    Until we meet again..
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
    wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
    with joy that long endures.
    May all life’s passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
