Welcome to MiddleMe!
Corporate Background
I have worked in various industries such as education, healthcare, retail, advertising, IT, telecommunications and e-commerce specialising in sales, customer service, and project management and operations for both SME and MNC. I have been a manager since 2003, leading different sizes of teams coming from countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Mongolia.
Freelancing
From a solid corporate background, I have successfully migrated to online entrepreneurship. Taking on various projects and assisting start-ups, I have created a strong profile as a writer and a recruiter. I started out freelancing in 2015, and I love the freedom that comes with it. Now, I am coaching new freelancers to become more successful than I am!
Volunteer Work
Serving my time as a volunteer writer and as a playgroup representative at Ibu Family Resource Group since 2017 allows me to give back to society. We are a non-profit organisation that runs purely by volunteers for parents with young children.
My Whereabouts
I used to be based in Singapore until I relocated to Shanghai in 2013 due to work commitments. Currently, I am happily located in Kuala Lumpur while shuttling my time between Singapore and Malaysia.
Personally
I am a Cancerian, but I don’t think I am a homely person. A proud mother to 3 beautiful cats, and to a little girl who inspires me to write every day and to learn from every moment.
New Challenge
I am currently writing a book about freelancing, in hopes that my experience will help others find their passion and reach their dreams without financial worries. Sign up at my website today to be updated on my book’s completion date!

Kally its nice to see your credentials as an experienced manager having alround exposure in diverse fields. You appear to have been good at writing from your heart as your observations speak of the tender feelings about the community across the globe..

Thank you! For so many years as a manager in the field, I always been sharing tips and tricks to the people around me and it always benefits the ones who listens. I enjoy grooming young folks into a position they wished to get but never thought they could get. Now I’m no longer a manager, people still come to me for advice hence I set up this website to share my experiences and hopefully benefit more people. Thank you once again for your kind words! Meant a lot to me!

I have one question, and that is, why is it so difficult in America for a person to find a job once they pass 60 years old? We do have a vast amount of knowledge to share with others.
LikeLiked by 2 people
Oh, Dr George, America is not alone. In Asia, it is the same too. And our retirement age is raised every year, leaving our senior semi-retired folks unable to withdraw their retirement funds. It has to do with the mindset of the corporation as well as the country. Let’s just say that no companies wants to put in time and money to groom someone who is going to move on soon.
LikeLiked by 2 people
We could also say that no company, wants individuals who truly understand to a high degree what the world is all about out of fear for their position.

Yes, that’s another way to look at it.

Sorry, Kally, in front horizontal menu, Stats, Indonesie is at the 30th rank on 93 countries. Good night.
LikeLiked by 1 person
Disparity: If you use the “WordPress Reader”, which is deposited a “Like” the Like is recorded, but not the country visitor. A gap in programming. Only visit the Blog, the like is validated, and the visitor country is registered. Example: a visitor from Rome in Italy, comes directly on the blog to post a Like, his country is saved. Hence his 5th place of 93.
LikeLiked by 1 person
WordPress did mentioned that their country records are not accurate. It depends on whether they are able to trace the visitor’s IP address too. Half of the time, they are unable to trace it successfully because I have friends who said they are in certain country but unrecorded. I prefer Blogger’s counter stats where they even reveal the IP addresses of individuals so you’ll know if the same person revisit your blog however, I guess it is teetering on privacy issue, that’s why WordPress is not adopting it.

You precious you! It’s 4:29 am here in Amman, Jordan. I have been arranging my living setup. Always, while I am doing this mundane chores that I so enjoy, I am talking to Father and He is talking to me. When I am satisfied with my set up, I proceed to record whatever has transpired between Father and I while I sweat the prescribed chores. (Some day I’ll have me back my maid, then, I’ll enjoy telling her what to do! Ha Ha!)
Anyhow, it was a joy to find your comment when I came back to the computer. All things are working out splendidly, just like Father is indicating to me it will be. There are still much difficulties to overcome but, the beauty of it all is that Father invests me with His strength & power to overcome all difficulties, that’s joy inexplicable and full of esteem!
I am so glad that I got you hook! That’s what I intended to do. My Father’s aim is accomplished! Ha Ha HalleluYah! Maybe I’ll gift you a copy and that will speed things up. I got to find out how to do that as well. Think I need a secretary more than I need a maid, don’t you think so? Blessings!
love, thia.

Hahaha!! My looks really leave people clueless. I get that all the time especially when I was even younger. Trust me, it’s a deterrent rather than an advantage when you’re trying to establish a career and having people to a baby face seriously unless I’m in acting or modeling line.

Oh yes, I can imaging that is can be a challenge when you want people to take you serious! A gift that challenges indeed. But I think right because of that you are even more competent and with both feet on the ground! So, in the end you have both! Fantastic!
