Solomon wrote: “What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.” Ecclesiastes 1:9
While this is true humanistically speaking, this was his conclusion after he had left following Yahweh, the God of Israel.
In contrast, Isaiah wrote by the Holy Spirit, “From this time forth I announce to you new things, hidden things that you have not known.” Isaiah 48:6
I’ll go with the prophet over a disillusioned king.😉
