Absolutely, because if one cannot be honest with themselves, how can one be honest with others? Being liked is not important. As long as one likes themselves and knows that God loves them that is all that matters. Our future is our own whether we are liked or not; Simply because God is already in our future, He holds our past, present, and future in His hands. Our future is not based on who and who does not like someone. Stay safe, and stay blessed.
