Truer than every with the means to stretch our minds better than ever. My mother died peacefully two weeks ago, 94 years old and was still watching the evening news and putting the world to rights.
If we choose to no longer learn, we then choose to desist. Regardless of one’s age, knowledge is as essential to our health as food and exercise. An excellent quote, Kally! Peace and light, my friend.
Thank you for sharing!.. which brings up the next question; do we ever die or is it stages of life we go through?.. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…. “There is no real ending. It’s just the place where you stopped the story.” (Frank Herbert)… 🙂
Until we meet again..
May the dreams you hold dearest
Be those which come true
May the kindness you spread
Keep returning to you
(Irish Saying)
I believe we all die because the Bible records in Hebrews 9:27-28 (New International Version), “Just as all people are destined to die and after that to face judgement, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many;………”
There is no pist sweetie

My deepest condolences to you. No matter how old they are at the time they leave us, we still feel the void deeply.

To quite learning is to be a QUITER!
Is THAT really something you want to be remembered for?

I would also say only if one wants to learn. There are many who put a full stop to learning.

Kally, you have said it all! Consciously or unconsciously, and whether we like it or not, we continue learning until the very end of our lives.
