I am a follower of Entrepreneur, among many business and career publications, that is how I always manage to stay updating on the current career trendings that are always evolving. And one of my favourite website that I came across today is this: 50 thoughts that can motivate you to do anything.
After going through this article, I thought it would be fun to come up with my favourite 10 thoughts out of the Entrepreneur’s 50 thoughts and share with you here.
-
I can do anything.
Don’t let these words reach the ears of the millennials. This phase is much better said to us, the old folks. The older we are, the more it is necessary to repeat us. Best to put on the loop. We seen so much we are cynical what is going on in this world. There used to be a time where we pooh-pooh over the idea one can earn cash through blogging. -
Mistakes are learning opportunities.
Absolutely true. Totally true. I haven’t seen one mistake that you can’t revive from being a loser to a winner. I learnt more from making mistakes rather than learning from the mouth of others. Some mistakes are costly, some mistakes made me wish I can do things better and some made me wish there and then I wasn’t born (just kidding!) but all mistakes are learning opportunities. -
There is no problem that can’t be overcome.
I have another saying which is “If a problem can be solved by money, it is not a problem.” I don’t delve over problems, I solve them or find someone who could. -
If it were easy, everyone would do it.
A lot of people are searching for shortcuts in life and tend to forget that happiness is not all about the end goal but the ongoing process. -
Action is a better regret than inaction.
I always believe that at the very least, you tried. Rather live in the unknown of “what ifs”. I don’t like regrets, I try not to have them. -
There is no pass or fail.
This world is sometimes too judgemental. There is no one definition of success and no one definition of happiness. Only you can set how high the bar is, not your teachers, not your parents, not anyone else. -
My life is a product of my decisions.
We are where we are through the crossroad decisions that we have taken. That’s why people said, “Life is a journey.” -
It can only get better.
When you are right at the bottom, there is only one way to go and that is up. You’ll never hit bottom as long as you have a roof over your head, your health, your wisdom. -
There’s no “perfect” time.
For all the procrastinators out there! Move your arse! Procrastinators are either by nature, through experience or through habits. Tons of research and networking are not going to get you anywhere until you take the first step out. -
I’ve got support.

Good little mix, ’cause some are tough love, and some are more supportive and reassuring. I like putting two of them together: “My life is a product of my decisions, and it can only get better” 🙂

YES! Great post – all of these points works SO well together! I like to think that I try to work on these points myself on a daily basis, but I know I have some way to go!

Ottimo tutto quello che hai scritto, Kally. Questo è ciò che ho condiviso di più: “””If it were easy, everyone would do it.
A lot of people are searching for shortcuts in life and tend to forget that happiness is not all about the end goal but the ongoing process.”””
Grazie!

Well said, my friend. It is always the process that matters to me and there is no real end goal in life, isn’t it?

A nice list, Kally…My favorite tends to vary with what is happening in my life. Right now, I’d go with “There’s no “perfect” time.” Cheers!

The whole secret of a successful life is to find out what is one’s destiny to do, and then do it.

That’s a tough find. Many search for all their lives and still couldn’t find it.

I completely agree that mistakes are actually learning opportunities. Messing up is never a pleasant experience, but there is almost always a lesson to be learned, if you take a moment to think about what went wrong, and how to avoid making that mistake again.
Great list. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

It is by far the pride of those who are yearning for “great success” that succumbs to failure, turning blind eye to learnings and failure to identify the better weight of needs versus greed more often creates a camouflage of confusing state eventually loosing direction towards the pre-pondered goals. ALL sums up to one word which is “contentment” …. let me share to you as well and all fellow bloggers and readers this piece…
my crown is in my heart , not in my head…
not decked with diamonds or Indian stones…..
my crown is called… Content.
Thanks and happy reading!
