This is a fantastic time to update you all on what’s going on in my life. I have met some really amazing people this year. This group of newcomers in my life has really helped me gain a different perspective on life. Meanwhile, I learned more about myself as I pushed myself through personal limits I have never crossed.
Looking back at this year, there were some significant downs at the beginning of 2023, but now I know it is all meant to be. I wasn’t meant to be stuck in something that I don’t believe in. In fact, it took way too long to walk out of something that wasn’t mine to begin with. Once I was done licking my wounds, I became so much stronger.
New people entered at this point to collaborate, mentor and show me that I am meant for more extraordinary things. I was able to travel to different countries and places almost every month. I successfully completed a major project for a listed China Property firm in August. In November, I launched a new project with my long-time publisher partner that utilised my previous experiences with education and children. Since June, I have been in the pet industry – treading a new, unknown territory but gaining respect and acknowledgement from clients and peers for my work.
My two adorable princesses will have their birthday party at the end of December (since one’s birthday is at the end of December and the other is in early January). They are turning 7 and 2! As usual, my time is prioritised towards providing the best for them. My 2023 proudest moments were when my older daughter jumped the promotion and earned herself two stripes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and my younger daughter learned to walk, talk like a chatterbox and sing.
I am still finding my balance between motherhood, freelance work and my time. My life isn’t perfect, and I can embrace that I need to tweak changes now and then. Maybe in 2024, I will embark on a different journey. I am already planning some significant changes in my personal life.
